Watch out for Alex...
Our library sent over a group of encyclopedias to the local one room school house last week, and in return, the kids sent back a bunch of hand written thank you cards.
A ton of these letters are just stinking cute!
Most of them contain a thank you message followed by memorable quotes like "I really liked reading about monkeys" and "lots of love, Mercedes".
But this was the best one:
Dear library,
Thank you for sending over the encyclopedias. There was a bad earthquake in Alaska in 1964.

On the back are child-like renderings of bodies and rubble, with little notes above the people reading "ded". LOL! From the drawings and letter, I know he was probably pretty appreciative. But my staff and I definitely had a great laugh over this particular card.
