Make Way For The Ducklings!
Yesterday, I rescued a lost baby duck from the asphalt parking lot near my flat. I found a great caretaker for the little nipper whilst driving near the fairground. Unknowingly, I asked a group of people if they'd seen any nesting ducks near the river. These folks were leaving the 4-H Fowl and Rabbit Club meeting, so they took little nipper.

This morning, little nipper's *NINE* brothers and sisters were wandering around lost in the same parking lot. No mama duck. But there was an interesting report from a passer-by about an injured duck being chased by a cat yesterday.

Well, that explains little nipper.

With help, I managed to place all nine ducklings in a box and contacted the 4-H folks again. All 10 ducklings will be reunited at a specialist's house.

One more miracle, and I'll be up for canonization as the Patron Saint of Wood Ducks.
